Channels
Easily set up channels of communication for your application in your NLX workspace
Every NLX application needs at least one delivery channel. It's the interface layer where real users interact with your conversational experience. NLX provides a built-in default channel as well as several provider-managed options, so you can deploy across web, mobile, voice, IVR, CCaaS platforms, and more.
Default NLX channel
Every AI app in your workspace automatically includes an API channel. Use it to:
Embed your assistant into a website or mobile app using the NLX Touchpoint SDK
Enable Voice+ support through NLX’s native web/mobile channel
Integrate with a custom frontend, backend service, or middleware via REST/WebSocket
Because the API channel is available out of the box, it’s the fastest and most flexible way to implement your application.
Managed provider channels
NLX also supports deployment through third-party communication platforms. Each provider channel comes with its own configuration fields, installation steps, and routing behaviors.
